As a 7th grader, you get the opportunity to take part in the Renaissance Fair. It is a great way to get parents, friends, and 7th and 8th graders involved with our school. It is way to reflect back on what you had learned through the year. Costumes are a key part of the renaissance fair. You don’t have to dress up, but most people do. For some, finding a costume, or picking out a costume, is easy. For others it is a difficult task, here are a few tips on how to find your costume for the Renaissance Fair.
One idea is to rummage through your closet. You might find items you didn’t even think you own. But you should also look through your parents closets, as well as other family members and friends. If you dig hard enough you might not need to purchase anything, and that can make the costume process much easier.
Another way to find a costume is going to a thrift store. Thrift stores have many different knick, knack pieces of clothing. You can find hats, belts, shirts, skirts, pants, plus it is an affordable price. The third way is to go online. Different websites will have different price ranges and styles of clothing. You can find all you need on a screen! But sometimes if it takes awhile to ship, it may not get here in time, and it may look different in person, so be careful.
The renaissance fair is truly a memorable event that it is great to be a part of. It is such a good way to end the year also. Finding a costume is one of the most important parts of the event. Hopefully these tips may help to find amazing costumes for the Renaissance Fair.
