Summer Solstice is the day that the summer season actually begins. It marks the longest day of the year. Here in the Northern Hemisphere, Summer Solstice is on June 20th.
This day is celebrated here in Santa Barbara with a parade! There has been crews of people working on the colorful and creative floats and decorations to make the event super festive. It is a very fun event to go to and also volunteering to make the floats is very fun.
The Summer Solstice parade is a very fun event do make sure to attend! And enjoy the hot summer weather during summer break while it’s here!
