Over the summer I was with my dad in San Francisco, but when I came back, my mom surprised me!
My mom told me I was going to the Panic! at the Disco concert. It was a long 2 weeks, it felt like 2 months. When the day came, it went by so fast. We got ready by wearing Panic! at the Disco shirts and pants. We got to the Santa Barbara Bowl, and got ready to walk up the big hill to get to our seats. We got inside and started to walk up the hill when we heard music start to play. My friend and I started to run up the hill, we got to the stairs that were by the stage and we watched Brendon Urie walk out onto the stage.
We got to our seats just as the song started. They started off with “Don’t Threaten Me With a Good Time”, one of their more upbeat, party songs. It got the whole crowd in a good mood, so everyone was singing and dancing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a crowd of people doing everything together, laughing and smiling, and just having a good time all at once! We listened to everything they did and loved every second of it. Panic! at the Disco, played for about an hour and a half before Weezer came on stage to end the show. At intermission, some people left the bowl, and some people came. The Weezer portion of the concert was a lot of fun. They played mainly their classics, and it was amazing.
I had a really great summer, and the concert was incredible. I’m very glad I was able to go to the concert, I will never forget it.
