Cute Halloween Treats

Halloween is coming close, and what better way to get ready for the festivities than to make a few easy, cute, DIY treats! I enjoy crafts and baking, so if you’re like me, hopefully you’ll enjoy these too.

Here are three delicious, divine, tasty treats that will have your mouth watering.

The first treat is Brownie Cupcakes. For this sweet treat, you will need:

  • Brownie Mix
  • White Cake Mix
  • Cupcake Liners
  • Buttercream Frosting
  • Decorating Bags
  • Wilton 2D Decorating tip
  • Orange Food Coloring
  • White And Black Sprinkles
  • Cupcake Pan
  • Two Big Bowls For Mixing
  • Piping Bags

First, pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees, then take one bowl and mix together the brownie mix. Do the same in the other bowl with the white cake mix. For the white cake mix, add orange food coloring to it. Next, line the cupcake pan with cupcake liners and fill up ⅓ of the cupcake liner with brownie mix. Take the orange colored cake mix and fill that just under the brim of the cupcake liners. Bake the cupcakes for 15-20 minutes and then let them cool. After that, put your buttercream frosting in a piping bag with the Wilton 2d Decorating Tip, and pipe nicely on top of the cupcake. Finally sprinkle sprinkles onto the cupcakes and dig in!

The next treat is edible Pumpkin Candy Chocolate Chip Cups for Halloween. For this recipe you will need:

  • 12 oz orange melting chocolate wafers
  • Small round balloons
  • ¼ cup milk melting chocolate wafers
  • 5 cups of different assorted Halloween themed candies

First, melt the orange melting wafers for around 30 seconds in a microwave. Make sure to stir when it comes out until it is all smooth, then blow up the balloons to a good size and make sure they are not too small. Once your chocolate is melted in a large bowl and the balloons are blown up, dip the balloons halfway into the chocolate. Set them on a tray with parchment or wax paper, and put it in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes. After the balloons and chocolates are nice and hard, pop the balloon and remove it from the chocolate. Make sure there are no remains of the balloons in the chocolate bowl. Next, pipe a pumpkin face onto one side of the bowl, or you can just decorate the bowl however you like instead. Finally, fill up the bowl with candy, and it’s ready to eat or be set out for display!

The third and final treats are Halloween Marshmallow Pops! This is a cute and festive sweet that is easy and quick. The ingredients needed are:

  • Large marshmallows
  • Black and orange candy melts
  • Assorted colors of sprinkles
  • Festive fake tree branches

First, melt the chocolates so that they are smooth and are almost a liquid. Next, stick the fake tree branches into each marshmallow. After that, dip half of the marshmallow into different colors of melted chocolates. Finally sprinkle sprinkles onto the melted chocolate. Now dig in!
