Current eighth graders have enjoyed leading the school for a year, but it’s time for a change, for seventh graders to step up and participate in school just a little more. This year, the seventh graders who will be running for office next year must start now! They have written speeches, made posters, and come into their own through it all.
This past Wednesday all seventh grade english classes showcased all candidates speeches to get other students to vote for their peers. President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Sergeant of Arms are the five positions that are looking to be filled by the incoming eighth graders.
Blake Ekeler will be the Sergeant at Arms, Katie Ostlander is President, Katherine Casey is Vice-President, Abraham Zaragoza is Treasurer, and Alessandra Urquilla is Secretary. We look forward to handing over the school to the incoming 8th graders and watching as they lead our school to be the best it can be.
