Celebrating Dia de Los Muertos at Santa Barbara Junior High

Dia de Los Muertos is a tradition that people celebrate of life and death. It

begins late on October 31st, and they celebrate their departed loved ones with a  feast, altar, decorations, and visits to the cemetery. Santa Barbara Junior High celebrated Días de Los Muertos the week of Halloween.  Some famous foods that they put during parties of Día de Los Muertos are Pan de Muerto, Agua de jamaica, Agua de Tamarindo, Horchata, and many others. For Santa Barbara jr high the only food they had was Pan de Muerto and they had some decorations like altars, sugar skull. They also had relaxing music.

In conclusion, it’s really fun to decorate and celebrate Dia de Los Muertos with the school.
